Experience in Ajijic, Mexico 2011

I love the decoration of this Cantina, look at the colorful walls and all the unique small paintings. Very delicate and charming.

The Italian Cantina

This salad was served at a cute little Italian Cantina we went for lunch one day. the four of us shared it: Mixed greens of spinach, crisp romaine and arugula, warm goat cheese slightly melted, caramel glazed pears and a bit of vinaigrette dressing. Simple and delightful.

This was a light lunch, I was going to be eating again shortly. Even though it was light, I was quite fun to eat: Mixed greens, strawberries, raisins, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, fresh avocado, black berries, white local cheese tossed with extra virgin olive oil and a touch of Dijon mustard and sea salt.

Even though I ADORE oranges, I must say that the Mexican oranges are some of the sweetest and tastier oranges that I have ever had. I will recall to the as Oranges, with a Capitol "O".

Early morning from El Mirador of the house, the sun is rising.

A bit of the village, a peaceful place...

At meal time, always a funt time. Each one has what suits them best, or better, what their little tummy desires.
